Film Making Workshops

The Media Lounge runs film making workshops throughout the year for those who want to try their hand at making their own movies. Whether you are a beginner or just want to brush up on some techniques, we have workshops to suit every level of experience and every age.

Film Making Workshop (under 16′s): If you are under the age of 16 and want to try your hand at film making then this workshop is the ideal place to start! Our team of professionals will guide you through the film making process every step of the way, from using the cameras and microphones, to planning out and storyboarding your own movie. The workshop is split into 2 sessions both lasting 3 hours and refreshments will be provided. The sessions run on a Saturday 9:30-12:30 (10-13 yrs) and a Thursday 5:00-8:00 (13-16) costing £59.
